Major Reshuffle in Chandrapur Forest Department

15 Forest Range Officers Transferred;
RFO Santosh Thipe Gets One-Year Extension

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Maharashtra Revenue and Forest Department has issued transfer orders for 216 Forest Range Officers (RFOs) across the state. Chandrapur district alone has witnessed 15 key transfers in the latest order. At the same time, Moharli Buffer Range Forest Officer Santosh Thipe has received a one-year extension in his current posting.

As per the official orders, Sudhir Surpam, presently serving as RFO at Sironcha in Gadchiroli district, has been transferred to the Tadgaon Research Centre in Chandrapur. Arun Kumar Gond, who was posted at Moharli in Tadoba Core, has been shifted to the Bamboo Research and Training Centre (BRTC), Chichpalli.

Mrinali Karhade from Murumgaon West, Gadchiroli, has been appointed to Chandrapur Research Centre-1. Rundan Katkar has been transferred from Kolsa in Tadoba Core to Kothari Territorial Division, while Surekha Dahikar has taken charge as the new RFO of Kolsa Range in Tadoba Core.

Further transfers include Akash Mallewar to Charmoshi Forest Range in Gadchiroli district, Amrapali Khobragade to Jivati Forest Range, and Yogita Madavi to Kanhargaon Forest Range.

Subhangi Krishnapurkar has been posted to Kothari Forest Range under Tadoba Buffer, whereas Kishor Deurkar has been transferred to Karwa Forest Range in Tadoba Core.

Swati Lande, formerly with Social Forestry Hinganghat, has been appointed as RFO of STPF-3 Pangdi, Mul. Sachin Narad from Brahmapuri North has been transferred to the Social Forestry Division at Malkapur in Akola district.

In other important changes, Shrinivasi Gavhare has been posted to Dhaba Forest Range under Tadoba Buffer. Vinod Jambhule, currently serving at Karwa in Tadoba Core, has been transferred to Chaudampalli Forest Range, Chaprala. Meanwhile, Sandeep Langde has been shifted from Jivati Forest Range to the Nagpur Forest Range Working Plan Division.

The transfer orders are being viewed as part of a broader administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening forest management and operational efficiency across the region.
