Chandrapur (Mohammad Suleman Baig):
During the Christmas holiday rush at the world-famous Tadoba–Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR), a serious case of irregularity has been uncovered. While checking Cruiser Safari tickets at the Moharli Core Gate, forest officials found that 19 tourists were using fake Aadhaar cards over the last two days.
Officials said the fraud was detected during strict verification at the entry gate. Similar problems were also noticed at the Kolara Core Gate, suggesting that the misuse of safari tickets may be occurring at multiple locations.

Due to the seriousness of the issue, senior forest officers have immediately stopped the issue of spot Cruiser Safari tickets. It has also been clearly stated that cancelled or balance tickets will no longer be given to tourists at the gates.
The Forest Department has started a detailed investigation, and officials have indicated that strict action will be taken against those responsible. To prevent such incidents in the future, the checking process will be made more strict.
The incident has raised concerns about ticket misuse during peak tourist seasons and highlights the need for stronger monitoring to protect fair and transparent eco-tourism at Tadoba.
