Chandrapur (Mohammad Suleman Baig):

A special bird-watching program was organized for students in the buffer zone of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. The event was conducted with the support of Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) & Field Director for the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) Dr. Prabhu Nath Shukla and under the guidance of Moharli Range Forest Officer Santosh Tipe at the Moharli Lake premises.

During the program, students were introduced to various bird species and learned about their identification, behavior, habitats, and ecological importance. The bird-watching exercise aimed to raise awareness among students about nature, biodiversity, and wildlife conservation.

On this occasion, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts Sanjay Thakre, Mohammad Suleman Baig, Vipul Dhawale, Sumedh Waghmare, Ajay Poddar, and Akshay Suryavanshi were present. Forest Department officials, including Round Officer S. Jumde of the Moharli Buffer Zone forest guards and ladies guide, also participated in the event.

Students from Moharli and Bhamdeli villages enthusiastically took part in the program. The bird watchers and Forest Department officials shared valuable information about bird conservation, the importance of natural resources, and the responsibilities of individuals toward environmental protection.

Such educational and nature-based activities play a significant role in developing students’ interest in nature while promoting awareness and a positive attitude toward wildlife and bird conservation.
