A marathon event titled “Run for Clean Tadoba” was successfully organized on September 3, 2025, at 6:30 AM in Moharli. The event was jointly conducted by Moharli Vanraja Ganesh Mandal, Moharli and the Village Eco Development Committee, Moharli.
The marathon began from Moharli Vanraja Ganesh Mandal, Moharli, and concluded at Navargaon Check Post.
The main objective of the event was to raise awareness about cleanliness and environmental conservation in the Tadoba region.
Several dignitaries were present during the event, including Moharli Forest Range Officer Mr. Santosh Thipe, Round Office Mr. S. Jumde, Forest Department staff, Sarpanch of Moharli village Mrs. Sunita Katkar, President of the Village Eco Development Committee Mr. Sanjay Mondhe along with other committee members, all office-bearers of Moharli Vanraja Ganesh Mandal, and members from the Homestay Association including Mr. Mangesh Lamge and Mr. Mukesh Shivankar. Police Patil Moharli Ram krushan Sakharkar, A large number of villagers from Moharli also participated enthusiastically.
The marathon successfully spread a positive message about protecting the environment. Organizers expressed their intention to continue holding such events regularly in the future with active public participation.
