Wildlife Census Underway in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve: 79 Machans, 160 Enthusiasts Participate

In the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, a wildlife census is being conducted as part of the Tiger Conservation Project. There are a total of 79 machans, with 160 wildlife enthusiasts participating.

This wildlife census is being conducted in six ranges: Chandrapur Buffer, Moharli, Palasgaon, Chandrapur, Khadsangi, and Mul. The census will begin today, May 23, 2024, at 6:00 PM and continue until 6:00 AM the next day. Each machan will have two individuals and a guide present, with Kushagra Pathak, the Deputy Director of the Tadoba Buffer Zone, visiting one of the machans personally.
