Major Boost for Tourism: Chandrapur Tiger Safari Project Moves Forward with ₹600-Crore Investment

A positive meeting was recently held in Delhi with the Central Zoo Authority regarding the Chandrapur Tiger Safari Project. Following that meeting, Mr. Naresh Zurmure, Managing Director of FDCM (Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra), paid a special visit to Chandrapur.

At the Forest Department Rest House, detailed discussions were held with officials regarding the progress and implementation of the Tiger Safari Project. Later, Mr. Zurmure conducted an on-site inspection of the proposed 515-hectare area where this ambitious project will be developed.

With an estimated budget of ₹600 crore, this Tiger Safari is expected to significantly boost Chandrapur’s economic growth, tourism potential, and environmental development. Once completed, the project will attract tourists from across the world and give new momentum to the district’s overall progress.
